FAQs

what does Minna Studio do?

We help small businesses and startups build brands that sound like them, look like them, and connect with the people they’re trying to reach. T

hat work takes shape differently with each client, but our mixed bag of services is always intended to serve that core purpose.

Our most commonly booked projects include strategic rebranding projects, website renovations, foundational content strategy and copywriting.

What is your process like?

Almost every project starts with some level of foundational work (think: core brand, audience, goals, audits and content clarity). From there, we move into distilling strategic recommendations and giving clear structure to the work to come. Then it’s time for creative execution, whatever that might look like for the particular project: copywriting, design, website development, content systems and generally getting things done.

Our process is structured, but not too structured—because we know the best ideas and insights sometimes come from messy places.

Do you work with clients outside Minneapolis-St. Paul?

Absolutely. While we’re based in Minneapolis, our clients are everywhere—Denver to Denmark.

What types of businesses do you typically work with?

Small business owners, founders, entrepreneurs, restaurant owners, hospitality groups, fellow creatives and nimble organizations who want their brand to feel more like who they actually are.

Most of our clients have been in business for at least a few years and are feeling limited by their brand, website or current marketing approach.

How long do projects usually take?

It depends on what we’re doing! Branding projects usually take 8-12 weeks including strategy, voice and visual identity. Foundational content strategy projects (without branding) usually take 3–4 weeks. Website projects vary, but typically take 16–20 weeks depending on scope, platform, complexity, and how many pages.

How much does a website cost? What’s included?

Cost and scope depend on your goals, content needs, site size, functionality, and how custom the site is. Most of our full-service, custom website projects range from $25–$50K+. Simple Squarespace sites (<5 pages) may be less. We always outline a clear estimate based on the goals. No surprises—unless they’re fun kind of surprises.

Our website work is full-service, which means we handle the audit, strategy, site architecture, UX, design, photography (if needed), essential SEO, copywriting, build and project management end-to-end.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes. Some of our projects are structured so we can flow from foundational work right into our hands-on execution and ongoing support.

Do you do logo design?

Yes, but only as part of a full brand identity project. We don’t offer one-off logo-only packages, because a logo without strategy is just, well, a drawing.

Do you offer social media services?

Yes and no. We offer social content strategy and direction to help you build a more aligned, consistent and effective social presence, plus design systems and content ideas your team can run with. (We will very occasionally take a more hands-on social media management role but only if it’s a good mutual fit.)

What if we don’t even know what we need yet?

Totally normal. Start with a discovery call—we’ll help you figure out where you are, where you’re going, and what type of support will get you there.
